Boreham Wood are outside the Skrill South relegation zone on goal difference after beating Bishop's Stortford 3-1 on Saturday.
The result means Wood are 19th in the table, equal on points with Tonbridge Angels.
Mario Noto put the visitors ahead and and Anthony Jeffrey doubled the lead before the break.
Stortford pulled one back in the 52nd minute but any hopes of a comeback were ended when Noto added a third from the spot late on.
The result came as a welcome boost to Wood's survival bid after Ian Allinson's side lost 2-0 at home to Concord Rangers on Boxing Day.
Wood host Farnborough on Saturday.
