Through your newspaper I would like to say a huge thank you the two wonderful people who stopped and helped me in Clarendon Road on Friday, December 19, when my 18-year-old son had a seizure and I called out for some help.

Both of the people stayed with me until the ambulance arrived. The young mother who had her child in the car, which I did not realise until about ten minutes later, I thank you, and to the gentleman who got some sort of sheeting out of his car to wrap round my son and put under his head to stop any further damage and who helped me hold him up, I thank you. Both my son and I hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas. We wish you a healthy and happy 2015.

I do hope you see this letter as it is my only way of making contact with you. My son is now fine and once again my heartfelt thanks. Never let anyone say the public do not care.
