I am proud to announce that actress Vicki Michelle, who is best known for appearing in the classic BBC sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!, is to make a welcome return to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, to feature in my new short film.

Vicki’s previous credits for Elstree Studios include the films: The Greek Tycoon & George and Mildred; whilst her BBC Elstree credits include: ‘Allo ‘Allo!

The much-loved actress is set to play the role of Amanda Newman in my film - entitled Resentment - which is set to be filmed at Elstree Studios during just one day in early October 2009. Location work will also take place close to the historic studios on the same day.

Resentment is being made by Paul Burton Films, my not-for-profit film company which I founded and run. I have written the screenplay for this new film which I am also producing and directing. The completed film will then be broadcast on Information TV2 (Sky 167) during 2010.

My most-recent film, entitled Amy, which I filmed at Elstree Studios last November, has so far been broadcast thirty times on Information TV2.

I am delighted to be working with Vicki again, having previously worked with her on a radio comedy that I wrote & produced in 2007 for the hospital radio network. The radio play - entitled Brides to Be - also starred Jeffrey Holland (Hi-de-Hi!) and his actress wife, Judy Buxton (On the Up).

I am also very proud to announce that Vicki’s actress daughter, Louise Michelle, will also be appearing in the film. Louise will be playing the role of Jessica Newman, the daughter of Vicki’s character. This will mark the first time the pair will have acted together on television.

The management of Elstree Studios have again been very supportive of me and my quest to make this new film at the complex. Their continued support is greatly appreciated.
