A community twinning group is organising a trip to their French twin town.
The Borehamwood and Elstree Twin Town Association (BETTA) was created in 1982 and this year, they are continuing their relationships between the UK, France and Germany.
Borehamwood is twinned with Fontenay aux Roses in France and Offenburg in Germany.
Borehamwood resident Sue Dane who has visited both places said: “On my visits with BETTA to both Fontenay aux Roses and Offenburg, I was made to feel very welcome by the local people.
“Their friendliness and hospitality was excellent and I look forward to visiting them this year.”
Between June 3 to 5 the organisation is planning a trip to France for both member and non-members and in September a second trip to Offenburg will take place.
