A man who was ordered to clear up soil and clay he dumped from a garden has appealed to the Secretary of State.
Amir Sharon, of Hawthorne Road, was issued an enforcement notice by Hertsmere Borough Council after he left old building materials at the back of his garden.
He also regraded the back garden without planning permission, which officers believe could have an impact on trees in the area, which are covered by a tree protection order (TPO).
If the appeal is dismissed, Mr Sharon, would need to remove all dumped materials and return the rear garden to its previous state.
The appeal will be determined by written representations.
