A housing manager has resigned after admitting he assaulted a teenage girl.
Brian Conbeer, a former manager at Affinity Sutton, in Elstree Way, Borehamwood, handed himself in to police in Truro, Cornwall, last week.
The 33-year-old, of Bovingdon Court, Hemel Hempstead, was due to appear in court on October 1 charged with assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
But, after changing his plea and making a full admission of guilt, the Crown Prosecution Service consulted with the victim who accepted Mr Conbeer should be cautioned.
Neil McCall, group operations director for Affinity Sutton, said: “We can confirm we have accepted Brian Conbeer’s resignation with immediate effect.”
