A woman threatened a taxi driver in an attempted robbery at the weekend.
The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday, March 10, in Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood, as the taxi pulled up to collect a fare at 12.40am.
The woman approached the taxi, opened the front passenger door, and then threatened the 29-year-old driver who managed to get out of the vehicle.
The woman then left the scene without getting anything from the driver.
The suspect is described as a white woman, 5ft 7ins tall with a large build, in her 30s or 40s with greasy, dyed blonde hair and was seen wearing a three-quarter length coat with a hood, black top and grey jogging bottoms.
Police are asking for anyone who has any information which may help their investigation to get in contact.
