Work to improve Stirling Way will begin next month and is likely to cause major disruption.

The work will include installing new kerbs to prevent large vehicles from damaging footpaths at the junction of Ripon Way.

There will also be new signs marking the 30mph speed limit in Stirling Way and replacement of weight limit signage on both Ripon Way and Stirling Way.

The planned maintenance is part of Hertfordshire Highways proposals to improve safety and pedestrian facilities in Stirling Way, which will eventually include parking restrictions along one side of the road.

The work will begin on March 8 and will last two weeks, with temporary traffic lights in place, and Hertfordshire highways have warned there may be some disruption.
