POLICE are looking for the woman who found Molly the dog wandering in Enfield and returned her to her owner.
The three-year-old golden pug was stolen by burglars who raided a home in Stapleton Hall Road, Crouch End on Friday, January 6.
Her owner Caitriona Fox took to Twitter and Facebook to appeal for help finding her lost pet, and after a storm of publicity a woman who found Molly returned her home safely.
Haringey Police officers investigating the burglary have issued an appeal to find the woman who found Molly, and for information on the thieves.
The raid happened just after 1pm, with the thieves climbing in through a window and stealing laptops, headphones, a games console, as well as Molly.
Police were called out by witnesses who saw two men heading towards Finsbury Park with one of them holding the dog under his arm.
Detective Superintendent Stephen Clayman, who is leading the investigation, said they need to know which Enfield park Molly was found in, and the woman may hold the key to catching the thieves.
