A BOREHAMWOOD man says he is looking for justice and retribution after his car was deliberately vandalised for the second time in seven weeks.

Three yobs are reported to have attacked Barry O'Neill's sporty Renault Megane at around 4am on Friday, April 22, outside his home in Bullhead Road.

The offenders smashed the passenger side window and rear windscreen and then used a Tesco bag filled with cream emulsion to spray paint all over the interior.

The £5,500 car, which also had its tyres slashed seven weeks ago, has been classified a write off by Mr O'Neill's insurers.

The 42-year-old said he was fed up and now looking to neighbours who may have seen something to help catch the culprits.

The Whitbread employee said: “Somebody must have seen something and I would ask them to come forward and contact the police. I want justice and retribution, it's just not on.”

Mr O'Neill, who returned to his home town of Borehamwood ten weeks ago, after living in Glasgow for 23 years, is hopeful forensic tests by police may also help catch the criminals.

Anyone who saw the incident, which happened between 3.45am and 4.15am, is asked to contact PC Matthew Knowles at Borehamwood police station via the non-emergency number 0845 3300 222.
