POLICE have released CCTV video footage of four men who stole designer clothes from a Radlett shop.

The incident happened at around 3.10pm on Friday, March 5, when four white men entered Injeanious, in Watling Street, with two checkered laundry bags.

They placed pairs of jeans, shirts and hooded tops into the bags. The jeans were the brand True Religion with a design on the back pocket.

The shop owner tried to use his mobile phone but this was wrestled from him by one of the men, who then pulled the main landline cable out of the wall. All four men then left the shop.

They are described as aged between 18 and 30, all wearing hats and with London accents.

It is possible this crime is linked to an earlier incident at the same shop on February 15. This happened at around 3.20pm and involved four men entering the shop, selecting four pairs of designer jeans and leaving with them hidden under their jackets.

Detective Constable Laura Chillingworth said: “We are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has any information about either of these crimes.

“On the second occasion, the offenders have entered the shop carrying these checkered laundry bags and have brazenly just started loading the bags up with clothing off the shelves.

“These two incidents have understandably left the shop owner very shaken and upset."
