Five celebrity housemates remain in the Borehamwood-based CBB house. But who will win what could be the final series of Celebrity Big Brother?

I personally would like to see Stephanie Beacham win this series. However, I get the feeling that it will be a male housemate who will be crowned the winner of CBB7 at Elstree Studios on Friday night.

For me, Stephanie has been a constant delight to watch during this series. I have particularly enjoyed watching her throw herself into all the various tasks. Her laugh is infectious and should be played to anyone feeling a little down! Ultimately Beacham has proved that a housemate who is a little more mature in years can be a good and popular housemate!

Incidentally, I read that the rental of Stephanie’s film Dracula A.D. 1972 (which I wrote a feature about for this website at the start of the series) has gone up by some 122%. The renewed interest in this film is not unique as the rental of some of Vinnie’s previous film titles has also increased as well. Proof, if proof was needed, that appearing on CBB every night can really increase interest in both a celebrity and their career.

Another engaging aspect of CBB7 for me has been hearing how much the majority of the housemates have enjoyed their time in the house. Stephanie has made no secret that she has had the time of her life! This enjoyment has obviously been conveyed to the viewers and the ratings have done well during this run. I would argue it has been the best Big Brother in a few years – let alone the best CBB version! Me thinks CBB WILL return one day!

I guess either Alex or Dane will most-likely win this year. I'd be okay with that; but I would prefer it if Vinnie 'Get out of my kitchen' Jones didn't win this current run! Okay, Jones has provided lots of entertainment during his stay in the compound, but he has also become a little too big-headed for my liking. Whatever he might say, Vinnie obviously wants to win - badly. Maybe his competitive streak harks back to the days when he was a footballer.

I am already missing Nicola's presence in the CBB house. I found her delightful, really down to earth and a pleasure to watch. I hope her time on the series will bring her lots of exciting work opportunities that will keep her in the public eye.

Finally, a fellow fan of The Tree of Temptation has mixed together a new dance-floor classic featuring all the best sound-bytes of that wonderful and opinionated prop tree that has taken root in the CBB garden.
