Hertsmere Borough has the lowest number of deliberately started fires in Hertfordshire, according to figures released yesterday.
Within the borough, Borehamwood had the highest number of deliberate fires, with 15, and Aldenham had the lowest, with two, in nine months from April last year.
Trevor Brown and Mark Cheshire, station commanders at Potters Bar and Borehamwood, revealed the statistics at a meeting of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership last night.
