Thieves brandished a knife before stealing a motorbike off a drive way in Borhamwood on Thursday last week. 

The incident took place at around 5.22pm in Kenilworth Drive.

According to Hertfordshire police, the victim heard noises outside their address and went to investigate.

The victim then saw their KTM motorbike being walked off their driveway by three people, with its steering lock removed.

They were shown a knife before the offenders left with the bike, towards Balmoral Drive.

Detective Sergeant Katie Stevens said: "We are at the early stages of an investigation into the event that happened on Thursday, June 29.

“I am appealing to anyone who might have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at around the time of the incident, to contact police.

“We do have a number of lines of enquiry at this time, but if anyone has any CCTV or dashcam footage that may help our investigation, please contact me via email at katie.stevens@herts.police.uk.”
