Footage of a girl being kicked and beaten by another girl as she sat defenceless in a street has emerged.

The 28 second clip, which was uploaded to Facebook, shows the victim being thumped around the head and kicked in her side as she is taunted by her attacker.

The incident, which happened in Leeming Road, Borehamwood, yesterday afternoon (Sunday) has been viewed more than 50,000 times on Facebook after the victim’s mother uploaded a video to the site.

The clip begins with the girl’s hair being pulled before she appears to be kicked in the ribs. The young girl can then be seen crying into her hands before she is struck around the head by the forearm of the attacker, who was wearing blue ripped jeans and a black hoodie.

She is kicked once more and the girl on the floor appears to ask for her attacker to stop.

The clip ends as the girl slowly picks herself up from the floor.

Writing on her page on the social media site, she wrote: “BULLYING STOPS HERE AND NOW.

“This is just a clip of what happened to my baby today. Words cannot even begin to say how I feel watching this. The start of my daughters attack.

“To the scum that did nothing you are as bad as the assailants.”

People watched on as the girl was subjected to the abuse until a witness reportedly called a taxi for the victim, which he paid for to get her home safely.

The mother says she owes the man “her daughter’s life”.

She then wrote: “We must stop this. As parents we have got to put an end to this. Let us all protect our children.”
