Hertsmere Borough Council has told travellers who have set up camp in a park to move on.
A ‘notice of direction’ was issued yesterday (Monday) after a group moved into Ripon Park in Borehamwood on Saturday.
If the travellers do not leave, the council will seek a removal order through the courts, a process they have already had to a number of times within the last couple of months.
And it is not the first time Ripon Park has been camped in with caravans also pitching up in Brook Meadow, Meadow Park, and Potterswood Park.
This group are not believed to be the same as the ones who have already moved on.
