Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run.

Nicholas Keeler, from Kings Langley, was hit by a vehicle at 12.40am on Sunday, February 11 in Radlett Road, Aldenham.

Police officers are asking for anyone who believes they saw Mr Keeler on his bike shortly before the incident to get in touch.

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Forensic Collision Investigation Unit Investigating officer Robin Ansell, said: “I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen Nicholas prior to the collision.

“You may have information that could help our investigation.”

A 41-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested in connection to the death but they have since been released.

Mr Keeler, a keen environmentalist who gave up driving in favour of the bike, worked at JustEat in Borehamwood.

The customer service operations advisor was well-known for his eccentric ways of dressing in flares and colourful clothing.

Nephew and best friend, Rob Lloyd, 28, said: "He loved the eighties, he liked his flares and even wore them to work.

“He was colourful there is no doubt about that. He was just unique."
