A retired engine driver shared secrets from his career as an exhibition celebrating 150 years of the railways in Elstree&Borehamwood continued.
Friends of the Museum welcomed Bill Davies to 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood on April 11.
Mr Davies, who drove the first driver only operation train from Bedford to St Pancras in 1983, said: "I was so impressed by the exhibition and I hope to be back soon to have a closer look."

His memories are now included in a collection of filmed extracts from chats with other railway staff, on display in the museum’s current exhibition “All Change!".
The exhibition is free and people are invited to take a trip back over the past 150 years.
Opening hours are noon-6pm on Tuesday, Wednesday's, and Thursday's and 10am-3pm on Saturday.
