Paramedics were called to The Venue on Monday afternoon
A man aged in his 70's was found unconscious in a swimming pool.
Emergency services were called to The Venue leisure centre in Elstree Way, Borehamwood, at 1.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Two ambulances, an ambulance officer and a rapid response vehicle attended.
An Essex and Herts air ambulance also landed in nearby Meadow Park.
The patient was treated at the scene and he was taken to Watford General Hospital.
His current condition is unknown at this stage.
