The largest Asian foodhall in London will host a day of celebration for the Moon Festival.

At Bang Bang Oriental in Edgware Road, Colindale, guests will be treated to traditional lion dance, Chinese face mask changing, known as Biàn Li?n, a ribbon dance, Chinese fan dance and Wing Chun performance, which is a type of martial art.

The Biàn Li?n, an ancient Chinese dramatic art from the 1700s, will also be followed by a magic show while in the foodhall, gusts will compete to peel a south Asian fruit, a pomelo, as fast as they can for a prize.

Extra to these games are children's workshops which include story-telling and lantern-making as well as a raffle for the Young Barnet Foundation.

The celebrations, in honour of the harvest, will begin from 12pm with performances, children's activities from 1pm and the raffle draw at 4.30pm on September 30 at Bang Bang Oriental, Edgware Road, Colindale.
