A TENNIS club has served up more than £700 for charity at its annual double tournament.
Members of the Acorn Lawn Tennis Club, which is based at Canons Park, Edgware, have raised more than £700 for their two chosen charities at this year’s Handicap Charity Doubles tournament.
Players, families and friends enjoyed an afternoon of the racquet sport, along with food and drink from the barbeque.
A total of £363 was raised for the British Heart Foundation and a further £363 has been donated to Cancer research.
