A peaceful memorial garden remembering people who worked at a supermarket depot has been opened.
Three people who worked at the Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre, in York Crescent, Borehamwood, have died in the last five years.
The staff decided to create a space to give their friends and family a place to reflect on their lives, which was officially opened last week.
Sam Aessa, a support assistant, said: “We’ve got a magnificent team and decided this would be a fitting way to remember them.
“It’s important to build something and to remember those who provided a long service and worked hard for this company.
“It’s also a place we want to remember the good times we’ve had.”
