A world-renowned musician shared stories and sandwiches with old schoolmates at a reunion.
Elton John attended Pinner County Grammar School until he was 17, when he left just before his A-level exams to pursue a career in the music industry.
The Candle in the Wind star was joined by fellow pupils from the Class of 1958 at the weekend for a reunion lunch at the star’s home ‘Woodside’, in Old Windsor, Berkshire.
Posting on social media site Instagram, the singer-songwriter said: “Lunch at home with dear old school friends. Many of whom I haven't seen for 50 years!
“It was as if we never left school. So much laughter and so many wonderful memories.”
Along with sharing a photo of the lunch, he also posted a photo with his ‘oldest pal’ Keith Francis, saying: “A wonderful, loyal friend for 57 years and still counting!
“He flew all the way from Australia for our class reunion. Love you so much."
