A 25-year-old man has been given a six-month suspended sentence for cannabis dealing.
Qais Naeemi, 25, of Farmstead Road, Harrow pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court on Wednesday, 8 April to possession of cannabis resin with intent to supply.
He must also undergo treatment for drug dependency and pay a victim surcharge of £80. The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs and paraphernalia.
On Saturday, September 14, 2013, officers raided an address in Hide Road, Harrow.
A large quantity of herbal cannabis was discovered along with drug paraphernalia, and Naeemi was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
He was charged on July 17 following a police investigation.
PC Michael McGuirk from Harrow Borough said: “This is a good result for the community of Harrow and another example of the extent that Harrow Police will go to to rid the streets of those intent on breaking the law.
“Our pursuit against criminality is relentless as we aim to make Harrow the safest borough in London."
