Little scientists held a rocket building competition after learning about space.
Pupils from schools across Borehamwood sent teams of four Year 4 pupils to Woodlands School, in Alban Crescent, Borehamwood, for the event, held as part of National Science Week.
Children were given kits and learnt how to make their rockets before testing them indoors, as it was too rainy outside.
President Barbara Kennedy said: “The club is delighted to organise this event and encourage young minds.”
The day was organised by SetPoint Hertfordshire and the Elstree and Borehamwood Rotary Club.
