Sisters who won a trip to Mumbai to meet Bollywood stars said it was “a dream come true”.
Claremont High School students Karishma Raichada, 17, and Kareena Raichada, 13, were given the opportunity of a lifetime after they entered an international TV competition organised by B4U to win a trip to Mumbai, India.
After finding out they had won, the girls jetted off from March 13 to 16, with a film crew meeting them in Mumbai Airport to interview them and follow them on their holiday.
Karishma said: "I first found out the good news via a email confirmation that I received. I could not believe it at first so I called the organisers to double check.
“It was like a dream come true.”
Kareena added: "It was an amazing experience we got to meet the stars and visit some of their homes and I also had the opportunity to visit temples and markets in Mumbia.”
During their stay, the sisters visited a number of film studios and had the opportunity to meet actors Sharman Joshi, Richa-chadda, Renuka Shahane and Salil Charya.
Their father Umesh Raichada said: "This was such a great achievement and the girls dreams came true as they always wanted to visit Mumbia and see how a film is produced.
“Meeting the stars was a added bonus as they had a chance to ask them questions and gain a insight behind the scenes.”
