Police are appealing for the owners of a box of slides to claim them.

Officers from the Northwood Safer Neighbourhoods team say the box of photo slides was found near Green Lane, Northwood, last month.

The pictures are of young people enjoying a family holiday or a school trip and officers are hoping to return them to their owners, who are likely to live in the area.

Sgt Alison Fanton said: "It would be really nice to get these pictures back to their rightful owners. The box contains about 100 slides, and by the clothes worn by those in the photos, they were probably taken in the 1970s."
