Hertsmere House and Isopad House in Shenley Road is to make way for a 12-storey block of flats
Councillor Harvey Cohen is obviously not in the slightest bit interested in people’s concerns regarding Borehamwood’s over-development (“Hertsmere planning chief addresses people’s concerns about Elstree Corridor”, Borehamwood Times, January 16).
It is increasingly becoming a concrete jungle, but obviously, this over-development will not affect his view. His statement that keeping Hertsmere green is not allowed is shameful.
Cllr Cohen should know that it has been pyschologically proven that living and working in pleasant surroundings makes you happier and improves people’s attitude to work and life.
