Christmas came early for a residents association with a visit from the King.
More than 40 elderly people attended the afternoon on Tuesday, and enjoyed a festive buffet and a performance by an Elvis impersonator.
Organ Hall Residents Association organised the special Christmas event using funds raised at other community events, including a table top sale in November, and also received a grant from housing association Affinity Sutton.
The association's chairman Jeanette McMullen organised the event, which was supported purely by those living in the estate, in Bairstow Close, Borehamwood.
She said: "It has been an absolute pleasure organising such a wonderful event for our fellow residents and has been a great way to meet our neighbours - we hope they all had a great time."
