Gardeners are being encouraged to help give Studio Way a make-over.
Following the production of a management plan for the site, the Countryside Management Service is appealing for volunteers to help makeover the area.
Work will start by taking down the old rabbit fencing around the young trees, while later in the year it will include thinning the trees and removing weaker plants to allow the stronger ones to thrive.
The task will start at 10am on September 3, and volunteers are asked to meet near the play area in Potterswood Park on Denham Way.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, though people should bring something to eat if they intend to stay all day, and all tools and equipment will also be handed out.
