Dog owners and their four-legged friends are invited to the latest Dog Watch event this week.

PCSO Sam O’Grady hopes to sign dog walkers up to the Dog Watch sheme, which aims to help police sniff out crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.

She has teamed up with the Dogs Trust, who will be offering free microchipping and gifts at the park in Aberford Road.

The event, held this Wednesday July 16 between 10.30am and 4.30pm, is co-ordinated by the Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership, which includes police, Hertsmere Borough Council and other agencies.
