A financial recruitment company has raised more than £1,300 for a children’s charity.
Accountancy Action, which is based in Borehamwood, works closely with children’s hospice Noah’s Ark hospice, which is based in Barnet.
During national Children's Hospice Week, the company set itself a target of £1,000, pledging to donate £2 for every new Twitter follower it received - with the message ‘Do a good deed, it’s on us’.
Managing director Marc Kirsch said: “We have been supporting Noah’s Ark as our chosen corporate charity for more than ten years and we are delighted to be able to raise so much for such a worthy cause”
Staff across the company’s four offices, including London, Milton Keynes and Cambridge, also donated money to take part in ‘Be a Hero Day’ by donning hero-inspired fancy dress.
