Hertsmere’s Mayor joined a Borehamwood care home for a balloon release to mark the end of Dementia Awareness week.
Mayor Councillor Paul Morris joined staff and residents at The Mead care home on Friday to celebrate the end of Dementia Awareness week.
The annual campaign, led by the Alzheimer’s Society, has seen events across the country to encourage people to actively seek answers to their questions about dementia.
The care home, in Castleford Close, Borehamwood, was joined by the provider Quantum Care’s 25 other homes around Hertfordshire to release the balloons as part of the campaign.
