Harry Burchell, of Stevenage, charged with robbery at Borehamwood Shopping Park

A man has been charged with robbing a security van in Borehamwood earlier this month.

Harry Burchell, 28, of Watson Road, Stevenage, was charged with robbery on Friday, March 24, following an incident outside Borehamwood Shopping Park on Monday, March 10.

The incident occurred at around 5pm when a security guard was carrying a box of money form a shop to his van.

He was approached by a man who ordered him to drop the box. The suspect then picked up the box and made off in a black car.

Burchell appeared before Hatfield Remand Court today (Monday, March 24) and has been remanded in custody.
