A road has now reopened after it was closed following an accident outside a Radlett school.

Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to NAS Radlett Lodge School in Harper Lane just after 9.30am to reports of a collision between a silver Mercedes and a Subaru estate.

Two fire crews from St Albans attended and used cutting equipment to free a woman, thought to be in her 40s, from her vehicle.

She was treated for neck pain and taken to Watford General Hospital just after 10.30am.

The road was closed between A5183 Watling Street and B5378 Shenleybury while investigations take place, but has now been reopened.
