People are being encouraged to put their best foot forward and join Hertfordshire County Council’s health walks.
The free rambles are led by trained volunteers and suit all fitness levels and abilities.
Terry Douris, Cabinet Member for Highways said "The Hertfordshire Health Walks are the ideal way to get active and stay active in 2014. “Hertfordshire is a scenic county with a wealth of wildlife.
"These walks are a great way to enjoy the beautiful countryside and keep fit at the same time, so why not check out our website or give us a call to find out about walks in your area."
The walks in Borehamwood will be held at 10.30am every Tuesday, outside the Halfords and the doctors surgery in the shopping park, Theobold Street.
They will also be held outside Mirzan Restaurant, in Aycliffe Road, on Wednesdays at 10.30am.
