More than 30 years after they left school, hundreds of ex-pupils of an Elstree school came together to reminisce about days gone by.

Old girls of Aldenham School in Aldenham Road, met up for the first time since they left the sixth form at a special event last week.

During the day, the women took part in a traditional chapel service with readings by old girls Claire McCarty and Hermione Cox, focusing on the achievements of women in society.

After the service, a drinks reception in the school house garden followed, hosted by headteacher James Fowler.

They were then given the chance to tour their old house, identify faces in photographs and watch a 20/20 cricket match on Top Field.
