A primary school hosted a special visitor for an African drumming workshop.
Parkside School, in Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood, hosted a special visitor on Wednesday who ran an African drumming workshop for children in all years, from reception to year six.
Each class were given a lesson on using the djembe drums and practiced basic rhythm exercises as well as rhythm games.
Alison Barrett, assistant head, said: "It was delightful to see all the children taking part with such enthusiasm."
