Old Haberdashers' Ross Barnett was left nursing a sore nose after being head-butted by a Bushey player in the 2nd XI's match.
The incident took place after a heated exchange between 16-year-old bowler Sami Ali and a Bushey batsman.
The batsman taunted Ali after hitting a number of boundaries but was then dismissed.
Barnett, who was fielding, made a joke at the player's expense as he left the field, only to see it backfire as the batsman turned on him.
Old Habs were planning to report the matter to league officials earlier this week.
