Elstree's Samantha Brova was crowned a swimming queen at a gala earlier this month.
The 11-year-old, representing South West Herts, grabbed top honours in the breaststroke event to become the district Year 6 champion.
Samantha clocked 57.49secs, with her nearest challenger almost four seconds behind.
A school record was broken when the girls medley team, with Brova's help, won their race in a time of 1min 38.53secs, smashing the previous best by three seconds.
Samantha's brother, Ryan, came third in the one length backstroke race.
South West Herts finished in second place overall.
