SNOOKER star Nigel Bond will be in Borehamwood at the end of this month.
Veteran Bond will be at the reopening of 007, formerly the Maple Leaf snooker club, on August 29.
The cue ace will be playing exhibition matches with lucky punters whose names are pulled out of a hat.
The fun starts at 6pm.
The new owners of the club, which will cater for snooker and pool, are Anthony Hale and former England international pool player Gary Bell.
Players can benefit from Bell's expertise.
Mr Bell said: "I will be able to spot people with talent in pool, and help put them forward for county competitions."
The club will run a snooker team entering the Watford League, which commences in September, and a pool team entering the Barnet League to commence mid-October. New team players are welcome.
For tickets to the opening night, call 078900 00079. Within the ticket price of £20, there will be a buffet and a free drink upon entry.
