Boreham Wood striker Junior Dixon has signed for Enterprise National League South newboys Walton & Hersham.
The 21-year-old was one of three players transfer-listed by the Wood this summer, alongside Luke Norris and Aaron Henry with the latter departing for Wealdstone, and permanently departs Meadow Park after two years.
He signed for Luke Garrard’s side ahead of the 2024/25 campaign on loan from Birmingham City and helped earn their return to the National League at the first time of asking following relegation.
His impressive performances in Hertfordshire earned him a permanent move to the Wood last summer and he made 12 appearances over the course of the season, all substitute appearances towards the start of the season.
He also earned valuable minutes on loan at Hampton & Richmond Borough before signing for Chatham Town on a temporary basis, aiding their Isthmian Premier Division play-off push.
Putting pen to paper on a deal for the forthcoming season, Dixon will be aiming to retain the Swans’ National League South status in their first season at the level.
