Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard has described their pivotal home game against Guiseley on Saturday as much bigger than winning promotion to the National League.
Wood are battling to maintain their league status and are currently only outside the relegation zone on goal difference with two games remaining.
The hosts go into this weekend’s match one place and two points behind their opponents with so much at stake at Meadow Park.
Garrard said: “This is bigger, much bigger than gaining promotion to the National League. Survival is by far a greater achievement than getting to this league by a mile.
“We are in with a big shout to pull it off and it will hopefully grab the attention of the town.
“We are in good shape going into this game and all those fans who made the effort to cheer us on in the play-off final last season need to be here. I cannot stress how massive Saturday afternoon is for the club.”
The club want to attract a bumper crowd for this crucial fixture and are offering adult Watford, Arsenal and Barnet season ticket holders entry for just £10 instead of £17.
