A man was fined and another was charged after insulting a police officer in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Shaun Richard, of High Street, Barnet, was caught using threatening language towards a police officer who had been called to Shenley Road, Borehamwood, following reports of an assault at 2am.
The 22-year-old is due to appear in court on October 9, at Central West Herts Magistrates Court.
Another man, a 20-year-old from East Finchley, was fined £80 and given a fixed penalty notice for insulting the same policeman.
