Hundreds of people came to a Radlett synagogue on Sunday to see a Rabbi’s induction.
Celia Surget officially became a Rabbi at the Radlett Reform Synagogue, in Watling Street.
The synagogues principle, Rabbi Paul Freedman, conducted the religious service over background music from Finchley based Cantor, Zoe Jacobs.
Rabbi Dr Deborah Kahn-Harris, principle of Leo Baeck Rabbinic College in London, gave a speech praising Rabbi Surget for her “patience and dedication.”
The day was also attended by members of the synagogue and MP for Hertsmere, James Clappison and followed a celebratory tea.
