A seven-year-old boy will take part in a sponsored run to raise money for charity next month.
Camron Donnelly, who lives in Borehamwood, will take part in Arsenal Football Club’s ‘Be a Gunner, Be a Runner’ event and will run three times around the Emirates Stadium to raise money for Save the Children.
So far the young Arsenal fan has managed to raise £200 for the cause, but is hoping to be the junior to raise the most money and be named Top Gunner.
His grandmother, Karren Ward, 48, of Buckingham Road, Borehamwood, said: “I’m very proud of him and he’s a very giving child and always wants to help out.
“Teachers at school say he is so fast, and with this run it will be a great way to put all his energy to good use.”
The young runner, who is in Year 3 at Kenilworth School, in Kenilworth Drive, will take part in the challenge on March 31.
