A JURY was selected this morning in the trial of a man suspected of killing binman Gary Bennett in an Aldenham park.
The trial of Julian Felisi at St Albans Crown Court was initially scheduled for a fortnight but could last up to four weeks due to the weight of evidence to be heard.
The court is due to reconvene at 2.30pm today, when the jury is expected to be shown CCTV evidence presented by defence barrister Nicholas Rhodes.
Mr Bennett, 46, was found dead with severe head injuries on February 24 in Aldenham Country Park, in Dagger Lane.
Felisi, 37, of Whippendell Road, Watford, was arrested and charged with his murder in March.
The pair both worked as binmen for Watford Borough Council.
