Ash, whose previous acting credits include the Thames TV sitcom The Happy Apple, the LWT crime series C.A.T.S. Eyes and Carlton/Central's drama series Where The Heart Is, will tape her scenes at BBC Elstree in June.
Leslie's role on the series is excellent news for the actress and her fans. You may recall that it was widely reported that actress contracted a hospital-acquired infection at a London hospital five years ago. The Quadrophenia actress had originally been admitted to the hospital for treatment after cracking two ribs.
Ash has been quoated of saying of her forthcoming role on Holby: "I can't wait to be back on set. It's the last piece of the jigsaw in my recovery."
Look out for Leslie's scenes in the BBC1 continuing drama this October.
