A crash along one of Newtown's busiest roads led to it being partially closed by police on Wednesday evening (May 1).
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision on New Road at around 6.30pm.
A section of the road was blocked off by police officers while they took witness statements and waited for the vehicles to be recovered from the scene.

Traffic flowing from Llanidloes Road was redirected along Park Street while motorists travelling along New Road were being allowed through by police at the scene.
A local resident described hearing a "really loud bang" then a wheel spin and "high revving" after the crash.
Shortly after 7.30pm, both lanes along New Road were reopened after one of the vehicles was removed.
