Two people have been charged with affray after a fight broke out near a pub in Borehamwood.

Police say they were called at around 5.30pm on Friday, October 28 to Shenley Road in the town centre.

It was following reports of a physical altercation involving a group of males near the Alfred Arms.

Police say the group made off before officers arrived.

A 21-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy have since been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

However, detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information.

Detective Sergeant Katie Stevens said: “Although we have arrested and charged two people in connection with this incident our enquiries are continuing.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened and has not yet spoken to police.

“A number of people were driving in the area at the time and I would ask anyone who has a dash cam fitted to please review their footage and contact me if you have captured anything of note.”

Anyone with information is asked to email DS Stevens at katie.stevens@herts.police.uk or call 101, quoting crime reference 41/87745/22.
